Dr Harshad N Soni, MS, FIAGES- Consultant GI & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Kaizen Institute of Gastro enterology & research centre, has completed his graduation & post graduation from Government Medical College, Surat. He was trained in Surgical Gastro enterology & Laparoscopic Surgery for 5 years at Ahmedabad. He opted fellowship in Liver Surgery & liver transplantation at ASAN MEDICAL CENTRE, Seoul, south Korea, as well awarded scholarship fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at Nine well’s Hospital, Dundee, Scotland, UK and Kyungpook National University, Daegue, South Korea. He was trained in Gastro intestinal & HPB Oncosurgery at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr Harshad Soni has a vast experience in Complicated gastro intestinal Surgery as well basic & advanced laparoscopic surgery. His area of interest are advanced Laparoscopic surgery, Laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, luminal gastroenterology & Bariatric surgery.
He is a Co editor of Clinical GI Surgery- a reference book for surgeons & Editor of DVD Atlas of Laparoscopic GI Surgery. He has published articles in national journals and presented various topics in national & international conferences during his career. He is a faculty of “ LAP SKILLS courses” – a training program for surgeons. He is an author of many national & international journal publication in the field of surgical gastroenterology & laparoscopic surgery.
