Pouchitis: the pouchitis disease activity index (PDAI) according to sandborn
Abstract
The aim is to quantify clinical findings and the endoscopic and histologic features of acute inflammation
Scoring is divided into three categories; clinical, endoscopic and histologic all of which have a maximum score of 6 points
Patients with a PDAI score < 7 have no pouchitis
A PDAI score ? 7 indicates pouchitis
