¨Synchronous hepatic metastasis ~ 10 to 25 % ¨Survival < 3 years without treatment ¨5-year survival after margin-negative hepatic resection-40% ¨10-year survival-20% ¨Metastasis to liver- Portal vein / Lymphatics ¨Early stages-Portal vein ¨Mestenteric -lymph node ¨Certain reproducible allelic losses or gains-hematogenous
