An alumnus of M. P. Shah Medical College Jamnagar, his keen interest in G. I. Surgery took him to U. K. where he worked at Digestive disease center – Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds U. K.
At present Director, Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Kaizen Hospital, Institute of Gastroenterology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad.
He is incharge of Liver and Pancreatic Speciality Clinic.
His Kaizen philosophy took him to centers of excellence to enlarge his knowledge and learn advanced skills in his field

He is interested in HPB surgery in holds extensive experience in complex surgeries like Liver Resection, Surgery of Bile duct injury and Shunt surgery. He has conducted surgery for Chronic & acute pancreatitis on many a patients.
He recently awarded fellowship at Kings College hospital, London in Dept of HPB surgery & Liver Transplantation.
His favorite activities include publications and presentations of research papers and organizing CME and conferences.

He was past president of Gujarat State Surgeons Association For 2012.
